Who: All comers—beginners to experts and everything in between. Individuals are encouraged, Relay teams are welcome. Our under 25 and over 60 age groups are under-represented, so we hope to see more youth and young-in-heart. Also, we love to see families, multi-generational families, and extended families as it’s the tie that binds.

Where: InShape (and possibly Cowell pool depending upon number of participants) and downtown Clayton Park and thereabouts.
Start time: Varies according to your estimated finish time. Will shoot for everyone finishing around 12 noon. Times generally should vary from 2 hours 45 minutes up to 4+ hours.

Bike: two loops around Clayton starting at InShape (and possibly Cowell) and finishing at the downtown Clayton Park gazebo. Let me know if you need the course maps and I’ll forward. See http://claytontri.com/maps/ for more details.
Run: Run from Clayton Park to behind Safeway on the Cardinet trail, then back to the Park, then follow the Clayton trail from the park out to Regency drive, then back to the park finishing with a short lap through the park itself. See http://claytontri.com/maps/ for more details.
Cost: Free—except if you are not a member of inshape and need to get a day pass for the pool. I’m working with Skipolini’s to open early that day so we can all go over and get pizza and salad afterwards.
Disclaimer: This is a bunch of friends getting together for some fun and exercise. No company (especially not Wells Fargo) or individual is responsible for the event nor liable for its outcome. It’s unsponsored (and somewhat disorganized J) as I will be racing as hard as ever to prove I’m not getting any older, only better. So while it’s for fun, feel free to create some friendly rivalry to help motivate you to train. And remember that your own safety should always be your highest priority while training and during the triathlon.
